A native of the Vaucluse region, Jean-Marc Banzo has followed a traditional career path, leaving his mark on renowned establishments (under Roger Roucou at La Mère Guy in Lyon, at the Girard family restaurant Les Santons in Grimaud and the Hiély Lucullus in Avignon)

His inspiration: local flavours, especially those of Provence.
Whether in Aix-en-Provence, at Le Clos de la Violette, or in Cassis, at La Villa Madie, this culinary virtuoso and artist gives southern flavours a new dimension. Products from the land are highlighted at the foot of the Mont Sainte Victoire and those of the sea are delicately transformed at the water's edge in Cassis.

These two fine tables are a must and a sheer delight for the palate.

Comfortably seated on the terrace in the shade of a pine tree, with a panoramic view of pink rocks and blue sky, immersed in the subtle fragrances of the sea and serenaded by cicadas, each bite is a pure delight for the palate.

In a charming garden atmosphere guests can savour the fragrances of a Provencal summer. The décor is a delightful combination of vanilla yellow and chocolate brown. A warm welcome is ensured by Brigitte Banzo. Here you are sure to be well-advised and served with grace and style.

In his culinary creations you will find everything typical of Provence: the seasons, the time-honoured traditions, the wonderful memories, the warmth and soul of the Mediterranean.
